Dr. Lawrence's message was a reminder of how we should be living. The silent prayer was a great time to be quiet before the Lord to thank Him for what He's done and to reflect on areas in my own life that needed my attention. The people in the congregation there were very welcoming and friendly. It was interesting to attend a more "traditional" service than we are used to. I found peace in the setting but in a different way than I find peace in our own church. The building is beautiful but dark and quiet, then the organ roars to life and echoes against the stone walls - as compared to the light of our glass walls and the peace of scampering squirrels, the hummingbirds, the grazing deer, and of course Neville joining us in the sanctuary.
